Privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
This policy describes how data is processed when you visit klarheiten.at or contact me by email.
1. Controller
Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Florian Zocher
Fichtenstraße 16
4611 Buchkirchen, Austria
Email: office@klarheiten.at
2. Website and hosting
This website is hosted by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria. Connection data is processed to deliver the website and operate it securely. This includes, in particular, your IP address, request date and time, requested address, HTTP status, browser information and, where transmitted, the previously visited page (referrer).
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are the reliable provision of this website, error diagnosis and protection against misuse.
According to easyname’s published information, where access logs are enabled, recorded IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours and logs are deleted after no more than three months. See easyname’s retention information (German).
3. Language choice and browser storage
When you open the main address, the website uses your preferred browser language to open the German or English version. This does not involve determining your location or country.
If you select “Deutsch” or “English”, the website saves your choice in your browser’s Local Storage under the name klarheiten-language. Only de or en is stored. This setting opens your chosen language the next time you enter through the main address. It contains no user identifier and is not used for advertising or usage profiles.
The setting remains until you change it or delete this website’s browser data. You can switch languages at any time or remove the saved data through your browser settings. Both language versions remain directly accessible if browser storage is unavailable.
This storage serves only the language setting you expressly select (section 165(3) of Austria’s Telecommunications Act 2021). Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is providing your chosen language version.
4. Contact by email
If you email me, I process your email address and the details you provide to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange a meeting or work together. Email service providers are used for this purpose. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries; the legitimate interest is responding to your message.
Providing your data is voluntary. Without a working contact address, I cannot reply. Enquiry data is deleted once the matter is closed and the data is no longer needed for that purpose. Data is retained longer only where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Content and external links
Images in the inspirations collection are loaded directly from this webspace. There are no embedded LinkedIn posts, externally loaded fonts, analytics services or advertising services. The website itself does not set analytics or advertising cookies.
LinkedIn is provided as a link only. Following an external link opens the relevant provider’s service, where its own privacy terms apply. See, for example, LinkedIn’s privacy policy.
6. Recipients and security
Technical hosting and email providers receive data as necessary to deliver their services. Other recipients receive data only where there is a legal basis, for example a statutory obligation. Connections to this website are encrypted using HTTPS.
This website does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise your rights, contact me at office@klarheiten.at. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, including the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
